Ce sanctuaire sanctifie la déesse des céréales et de la nourriture: Ukemochi no Kami, l'impératrice Jingu et le personnage légendaire de Yamato Takeru.
A very rare forest, located in the middle of the sea, in a place famous for the beauty of its beach.
The shrine worships Ukemochi no Kami (goddess of cereals and food), the Empress Jingu, and the legendary Yamato Takeru.
This onsen owes its name to the 8 maiden who helped Prince Hachiko find Mt. Haguro.
Sometimes garnished with walnuts and peanuts.
Best eaten as sashimi or in sushi.
For a delicious "kandara-jiru" soup.
