The current heat and lack of rain had led to a water shortage on Mt. Gassan. Accordingly, several services are unfortunately not available anymore on the mountain :
-Gassan Shrine closed until further notice
-Gassan Chojo Goya no longer accepts new reservations. Is unable to provide dinner/breakfast/lunch. Bottled drinks are only available on purchase.

VISITORS WHO WISH TO EAT/DRINK/STAY ON MT. GASSAN NEED TO REDIRECT THEMSELVES TO BUSSHOIKE GOYA'S LODGE (📞 : +8190-8783-9555)

-Midagahara Sanrojo no longer accepts visitors for the night and is unable to provide food. Bottled drinks are available for purchase.

As the mountain is equipped with dry toilets, toilets are still functional. Please plan your trip accordingly.
