Tachibanaya is one of the most ancient establishments in Atsumi Onsen. Built 370 years ago, it has amassed a reputation in the Japanese concept of "omotenashi" ("hospitality"). Its wooden outdoor baths, its Japanese gardens with its beautiful koi carps, its traditional Japanese rooms have attracted distinguished guests, such as the Imperial Couple after the war.
